By having enough Prestige Stars you will be able to obtain rewards from the Ice Continent onwards.

The requirements are different than the requirements for unlocking Continents, and you will see a bar with your Prestige Star progress for each specific reward. Progress and the "claim" button for unlocked rewards are shown on the World Map.
