This time-limited event is also available as "Asterion's Winter Maze". If the event is active, you can access it:

  • From the Maze Point icon on the left of any mine
  • From the world map, near the top left next to the Frontier Mine

How to play?

  1. Complete tasks on the list which is displayed in the event
  2. Receive Maze Points for completing tasks
  3. Use Maze Points to "Move" the special final rewards (at the top of each path) to spaces along that reward's path
  4. Automatically claim rewards you uncover on the way
  5. If you get the special reward to the end of its path, you automatically claim it

Maze Paths

There are four different-colored paths with four different special rewards in each starting space at the top of the maze. Move each special reward to the very end of its path to receive it!
 
  • You start on one path which is automatically unlocked for you when the event starts
  • To unlock other paths, you must collect "Maze Keys"
  • Collect Maze Points to "Move" the special reward one space forward on the current path
  • On the current path there will be one (or more) Maze Keys for you to collect when you "Move" onto their space
  • At the bottom of the event screen you can see the symbols for the keys you need to unlock the path (with the ultimate reward shown)
  • As soon as you have all the keys for the new path, it will automatically unlock
  • IMPORTANT:
    • You cannot move backwards on the paths; only forwards.
    • You need to collect the relevant Maze Keys to unlock other paths
    • Each special reward will always stay on its path: you cannot move the red path reward down the blue path, for example
    • If a special reward is occupying a space where two paths meet, you will need to move the blocking reward one space further to allow any other special rewards from other paths to move past the intersection

Maze Points

  • Collect them by completing tasks on the list which is displayed in the event
  • Use them to: unlock Maze Paths - more specifically:
    • Move your chosen special reward one space closer towards the end of the path
    • Each space you unlock (unless it was already unlocked) will grant you a reward
  • IMPORTANT: Maze Points will expire at the end of the event they were collected in. You cannot keep them for a future version of the event.

Maze Keys

  • Collect them by unlocking their spaces on the current path you are progressing on
  • Use them to: automatically unlock completely new Maze Paths - more specifically:
    • Each new path with a new special reward (at the top of the maze) requires certain keys to be unlocked
    • At the bottom of the event screen you can see the symbols for the keys you need to unlock the path with the ultimate reward shown
    • As soon as you have all the keys for the new path, it will automatically unlock
  • IMPORTANT: Maze Keys will expire at the end of the event they were collected in. You cannot keep them for a future version of the event.
