His wisdom was as deep as the earth itself, and his strength was unrivaled by any living creature. But when a rift of wild magic tore open the ground, threatening to swallow the world, he knew that strength alone was not enough.

To save the realm, Drethos made the ultimate sacrifice. He plunged into the heart of the rift, absorbing its raw energy until he was no longer just a dragon, but the living Avatar of Chaos. Yet, this power was too wild for one being to hold. In a forgotten alliance, the stone golems lent their ancient stability to anchor him. This massive effort forced their kind into a deep sleep, leaving only Adamanthus to keep the dragon’s energy in check.

Their union forged the Portal into Everdeep. The realms within exist only because of their bond.

Now, Drethos reigns as the silent master of this new world. From the shadows, he watches the explorers who enter, overseeing the trials of the deep and allowing only the bravest to navigate the path he paved.
