Some mines might feel too easy and that’s where Skips and Stars come in! They let you move through Everdeep at your own pace and jump ahead to tougher mines with better rewards.

Each mine gives you a star rating based on how fast you finish it:

1 Star: Normal completion — move to the next mine.

2 Stars: Good pace — skip 1 mine.

3 Stars: Excellent pace — skip 2 mines.

Stars are based on time goals. There’s no penalty if you don’t hit them, you’ll just continue normally. However, if you finish fast, you can choose to skip ahead and still get the experience (XP) from the skipped mines!
