Why aren't my permanent boosts / other boosts working in the Event?

The Event City is a separate event which uses its own boosts - this is why your other, normal boosts are not having an effect on your Event progress.

Usually when you unlock a new Event City, your current Cash production will be between M (1,000,000) and B (1,000,000,000). This means that some more upgrades are needed in the Event City, so make sure to invest in upgrading the items in your Garage, Equipment Room, Waiting Room and others, and you will start producing more Cash in no time!
